A Day to Remember
A Day to Remember and The United States in Prophecy

These days there is much talk about the need to care for God’s Creation. The topic of climate change has caught the attention of both the secular and religious World. Why has humanity forgotten the Creator and abused His Creation? In this study, Pastor Stephen Bohr shows that the reason is that both the secular and religious world have cast aside the sign that reminds them of the Creator and His creation.

This video traces the importance of God’s day of rest from the first book of the Bible to the last and shows, with absolute clarity, that this reminder of the Creator has been ignored, rejected and trampled upon even by those who claim to be Christians! Only when the sign is restored will the ecological problems of the world be resolved. Christians today are fearful of the growing threat of global terror. This problem has led many to think that the antichrist will be a radical Islamist who will launch a persecution campaign against Christians. However, is it just possible that the antichrist and his helper, the false prophet, are already in our midst and we cannot see them because we are looking for them in the wrong place?

In this study, Pastor Stephen Bohr traces the events of the great prophetic chain and shows, beyond any doubt, that the deadly enemies of Christians are not outside, but rather inside the Church. Do not miss this fascinating and striking study!

The Seventh Day Sabbath
(Exodus 16: 23; Exodus 20: 8-11; Hebrews 4: 1-11)

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. ~ Genesis 2: 1-3 ~ AKJV

The Sabbath Essential to Man
God saw that a Sabbath was essential for man, even in Paradise. He needed to lay aside his own interests and pursuits for one day of the seven, that he might more fully contemplate the works of God and meditate upon His power and goodness. He needed a Sabbath to remind him more vividly of God and to awaken gratitude because all that he enjoyed and possessed came from the beneficent hand of the Creator. ~ Patriarchs and Prophets, Page 48

The Seventh Sabbath Day
(Deuteronomy 5: 12-15)

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. ~ Exodus 20: 8-11 ~ AKJV

The Seal of God
The fourth commandment is the only one of all the ten in which are found both the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It is the only one that shows by whose authority the law is given. Thus it contains the seal of God, affixed to His law as evidence of its authenticity and binding force. ~ Patriarchs and Prophets, Page 307

The Observation of the Sabbath Is Commanded Again
(Numbers 15: 32-36)

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, Speak you also to the children of Israel, saying, Truly my sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the LORD that does sanctify you. You shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy to you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whoever does any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Why the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. ~ Exodus 31: 12-17

The Sabbath a Sign
The Sabbath is a sign of creative and redeeming power; it points to God as the source of life and knowledge; it recalls man's primeval glory, and thus witnesses to God's purpose to re-create us in His own image.

The Sabbath and the family were alike instituted in Eden, and in God's purpose they are indissolubly linked together. On this day more than on any other, it is possible for us to live the life of Eden. ~ Education, Page 250

The Law for Our Happiness
God has given us His holy precepts, because He loves mankind. To shield us from the results of transgression, He reveals the principles of righteousness. ... God desires us to be happy, and He gave us the precepts of the law that in obeying them we might have joy. ...

Since “the law of the Lord is perfect,” every variation from it must be evil. Those who disobey the commandments of God, and teach others to do so, are condemned by Christ. The Saviour's life of obedience maintained the claims of the law; it proved that the law could be kept in humanity, and showed the excellence of character that obedience would develop. All who obey as He did are likewise declaring that the law is “holy, and just, and good.” Romans 7: 12. On the other hand, all who break God's commandments are sustaining Satan's claim that the law is unjust, and cannot be obeyed. Thus they second the deceptions of the great adversary, and cast dishonor upon God. They are the children of the wicked one, who was the first rebel against God's law. To admit them into heaven would again bring in the elements of discord and rebellion, and imperil the well-being of the universe. No man who willfully disregards one principle of the law shall enter the kingdom of heaven. ~ The Desire of Ages, Page 308-309
